Supercharged vs. Turbo

Supercharged vs. Turbo
Hey all, been looking for a Cooper S and noticed that the 07+ are turbo charged and the older ones are super charged. Is one better than the other? I've owned WRX/STi's for many years so I'm very familiar with turbo, forced induction engines, but have never had a supercharged car.
One of the cars I'm looking at is 05 w/83K miles. They want $12K for it, but I'm also looking at an 07 w/50K for $17K. I like the appearance of the 05; it has the sunroof and the two-tone leather interior, factory NAV, etc. But, the 07 has less miles and is still very nice.
I just want to see if there are any significant issues with turbo or supercharged minis or just the particular years in general.
Thanks for the help!!!

theres a few threads on this already ... it's a boxer /briefs type thing ...
Many like the S/C better as it's easier to make faster (just change the pulley and belt)
It has constant boost from low RPM's and continues to build right up to the redline
others like the turbo , no boost at low rpm's and builds boost... harder to upgrade and make faster...
Drive them and see what you like

I do not know about the Minis but my experience has been if you want that extra power all the time the SC is the way to go. But if you want the power for quick bursts (passing etc) the turbo may be your thing. The turbo requires learning the power curve and how quickly your boost comes on. Boost can be modified by controllers.
Both are good and like Bad Venge states drive them and see what suits you
