Zenon Headlights

RE: Zenon Headlights
OK, so the Zenons are thehigh beams, or the Zenons are not thehigh beams? If I have Zenons, then there are 2 different lights the control the regular beams and the high beams? Sorry, not sure I understand.
And, to turn them off, Is that something worth doing? I was thinking that it would probably save the light by not having it on all day. We had this on our Beetle and I had to change them about once per year and they were not cheap.
Thanks.

I found that if you read your manual, there's actually good info in there. The daytime lights can be shut off via the onboard computer. Did so last night. This information is stored on the remote. Each remote can have its own profile, to store this and many other settings as well. Pretty cool. This is on my 07... not sure about previous models.
