My girl friend bought an 03 cvt back in january, it's a great car and i really love driving it because i am a small car lover (i have an 81 rabbit and an 81 2 door jetta both diesel one turbo) anyways the tachometer doesn't work anymore all the orange dashes light up around it but not the red ones and it just stays at zero, so one day i was digging around in the fuse panel and all i did was remove 2 fuses that had the picture of an instrument cluster and then put them back and it started working for a day or 2 then it stopped again, so tonight i tried to fix it again and it worked on the way to my friends house then on the way back it stopped and all the lights would intermittenly flash on real quick, like the temperature would display, then it go away and the turn signal light would come on then go off then the bright head light and so on. unless if any of you have suggestions i'm just gonna start tearing into it more, but i am just hoping there is an easy fix i don't know about, thanks for any help!
