My '04 R50 with 86K now has a loose tailpipe and is beginning to make an odd noise that I am not sure is exhaust related.

It makes a tapping sound that only comes under load (excellerating or decellerating, but not with the clutch in). At first I thought it was the exhaust, but I am beginning to wonder.

No performance drop noted by the way.

Anyone have any ideas what is going on? I know I need to do something about the exhaust (hopefully just a hanger issue).

Also, what is a good replacement Exhaust system (cheep) and how hard is it to replace my self (without a lift)?
