I am a newbie to this forum and this is my first post.
I am looking to buy a 2004 mini with 29K miles. It is loaded andis a 5 speed manual. It drives great and seems to be in good shape. Two things that are quirks are the passenger side electric window does not work when the temperature is above 85 degrees and the other thing is the passenger seat will not lock easily back in place after you let someone into the back seat.
The only thing replaced was the battery and according to the owner it was regularly serviced.
My question is with so few miles should I still have a ASE mechanic look the whole car over to be sure there are not some other gotchas ?
