2007 Mini cooper with EML light that comes on. It seems to be triggered by running the ac for about 10 minutes. Mechanic cleaned the throttle body but still does the problem. Now he says the harmonic balancer is visually bad and thinks this may be the problem? Thinks the AC compressor may also be binding as he smells a little burning rubber when the EML light comes on.
Help!!
