Default 2008 Mini Cooper S - Strange Noise When Stopping Motor

When the engine is warm and is turned off, it makes a strange whizzing/whining/mooing sound. Reminds me of one of those "cows in a can" that you turn over to make the mooing sound.

Here's a video to better describe the noise:

Anyone know what that is?

Check the rubber hose/pipe on top of the engine (driver's side) that connects to a gray hose that leads to the supercharger.

Thanks for the reply. Mine is a 2008 and is turbocharged. I checked for the hose/pipe anyway and the one I see seems fine. Any other ideas?

Unfortunately not, sorry about that anyway, that "moo" sound is a common sound when that supercharger hose acts up.

What should I be looking for on it? Loose? Cracks?
