I have a 2009 hardtop and the driver side rear "Arch" sidemarker quit working. Upon inspection I've found that the 2 wires (black and brown) are broken at about 18 inches and were hanging loose up underneath the fender liner. I've removed the rear tail light and they don't appear to terminate behind it. The Haynes manual wiring diagram isn't of much help. I had MINI look at it and they said it would require a lot of tear down to repair. Does anyone know where these 2 wires are terminated and how they're routed through the back of the car? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
