My 2013 mini cooper countryman S is giving me a P1338 (cam shaft sensor) code that won't go away. It is at 81,000 miles. The timing belt was replaced last year under warranty. I replaced the cam shaft sensors two weeks ago. Replaced the ignition coils and spark plugs this week. The code remains. The vehicle used to start right up but since this half yellow half grey engine error code has been on the car takes 6-7 turnovers to start and will idle fairly rough for the first 30 seconds after a cold start.

I have read that the turbo diverter valve could be an issue, or a high pressure fuel pump? What is everyone's P1338 code horror stories? Thank you.
