2015 2-door hardtop broken into - design flaw?
Hi all,
Our 2015 Mini Cooper 2-door hardtop was broken into last night. It looks like someone was able to stick a pry bar between the front driver window and B-pillar right above the exterior door release handle, then somehow pop the lock (manually, unlock button?). Nothing was stolen (because we never leave anything of value in our cars) and damage appears to be minimal (the driver's-side window rattles now - any ideas why would be greatly appreciated).
Since there is no frame around the front windows as with traditional car design, and the manual lock/unlock mechanism is so accessible, is this a common occurrence/vulnerability with this model?
Thanks for any info.
