AC Electrical help

thank you in advance -

story - short version -
fan blower has no speed
order both resistor and blower
check new blower on floor board - fan speed works
check with new resistor -works - but med and high are same speed

so couple of questions -

1- what do i check next ?
2- if fan not changing with new or old resistor - is it dash control?
3- does anyone have the chart that has words for fuses and relays - ? can anyone tell where the EFF I can find one - it is certainly NOT in the owners manual......
4- does the ac blower motor have a relay? - where and what number? thanks

basic question is after new resistor and new blower - still no fan speed control

1.Find and post electrical diagram here. It is always a starting point for all electrical problems.
2.It is a good idea to diagnose first and to buy parts later.
3.There are 2 types of resistors:
old ones (they are actually a few resistors)
new type are electronic.
Anyway I need diagram, find one! I like solving electrical problems. I'll try to help.

was not resistor after all - negative battery cable and BSD IBS - disappeared after disconnected from alternator, this really was a head scratcher and does not speak well for engineers - there was no reason for this to malfunction - nor was it easy to find - I actually had someone scope the alternator to find fluctuations ...
the alternator was tested and battery were operating fully and tested ok - but the disconnect and reconnect self-healing really sucked - how would anyone ever find this -
parasitic draw went away as well - so what did I learn -
even after pin pointing draw source, the cars "smart" system disguised its unhappiness in what the closest circuit...? i dunno - I still love the mini's but man this was a head hurter

It sounds like you have intermittent problem, i hope I am wrong!
Couple days ago I repaired my dads 03 Ford Focus, it had 3 (!!!) problems, preventing AC cooling:
bad AC hose, blower and resistor.
It was nothing, comparing to 84 Corvette: it had 7 (!!!) AC problems
