Bigger front tires and performance chips
I bought a 2009 Cooper, and all the other FWD cars I've driven I've placed High Performance tires on the front.
My Cooper has ContiPro 175/65-H15's all around on 5.5" wheels. I want to put 195/60/V15 tires or 205/55/Z16" wheels and tires on the front, and leave the ContiPro's on the back. Will this upset the balance of the Cooper, and be determinant to the performance? I want to buy a performance chip to improve the torque of the engine; is this a wise investment? Thanx in advance; Dante' Objects in mirror are closer that they appear. DRIVE FASTER!!!!!!! |
Take the performanace claims from manufacturers of these chips/flashes with a grain of salt - have you looked into a pulley upgrade? One of the better bang-for-the-buck mods...

An 09 does not use a S/C pulley as they are turbo
