Bluetooth in 2011 Mini Cooper and Android

Where is the bluetooth transmitter in the car? I notice that when using android (samsung Galaxy iii) I get intermittent connectivity problems, this doesnt happen with my iphone, is there a way to resolve this?

Have you checked your manual for more information on bluetooth connectivity?
