Can I install a SIRIUS radio in a 2004 Mini?

I recently was given a SIRIUS Satellite Radio as a gift. I went to a local Circuit City to see if they could install the radio. The tech there stated he has never installed one in a Mini nor would he know how to with all of the hidden wires within the dashboard and other locations. Also, there is no flat surface where to attach the docking station for the radio.Please help, thanks.

is this an after market unit? sounds like the tech was feeding you bull!!!! i have cars come in all the time with satilite radio. it is a pain in the ass to wire it up, as you would need to pull out the radoi and change some connectors around. this is for a OEM unit though, after amrket should just use the radio and broadcst it throught there. mount it on the windsheild or in the cup holder under the A/C controls.

i got one installed at best buy in my 05 S and i love it. so yes
