Default clear 3m bra removal

Hi, was just wanting to make sure before I try it, is the 3m schotchguard clear bra on my 03 cooper S ok to remove without damaging the paint at all? I started to peel it off the plastic rearview mirror cover and it didn't leave any residue, but I should probably be sure about the paint first. I just bought the car used, so the bra is pretty scuffed up.

also, is there any sort of remover I should buy?
thanks.

Heat gun and 3M Adhesive remover
Use te gun to heat up the bra and CAREFULLY start peeling , work back and forth along the line and pull

Since this has been on (likely since new) this might be a long hard fight to remove
There is a chance that paint can pull up despite the heat gun ect
