Cooper S 2004
I bought this unit wrecked to fix. Replaced hood radiator and radiator support. Had the top apart also changing a damaged upper transmission support. I had to take a view component's off for that. Air breather computer box etc.. Ran good before this. Now it won't idle. It runs worse as it gets warmer. What did I do? Where do I look?

Hello! I'd make sure there are no vacuum leaks. Is the check engine light on and are there any codes present in the system with you plug into the OBDII?
|
No codes. Where do I hut them. Inner cooler? Or from air box? Sorry to be so dumb. Not sure how the intake routes. Thank for your help

If you have a smoke machine that will help you find a vacuum leak. I'd first go over and double check everything that you removed in order to repair the items you listed. Make sure everything is connected properly. When you say it wont idle, does it just die or is the idle just jumping all over the place?

Hard to do because she will just die. Runs worse as it reaches temperature. I'll check it Don't have second set of hands. Had the air box loose. Maybe there.
