Cooper S Clutch Squeal
 

I have a 2006 Mini Cooper S with a clutch problem. When I push the pedal in, it gives a high pitched squeal and will not disengage the clutch. The sound goes away when I let the clutch out. I can't put it in gear or drive it.



Has anybody else had this issue? I think it is the throwout bearing but before I pull the engine, I am hoping to get some feedback.

I'll upload a video as soon as I can figure it out.
