Default Did I make the right choice??

I am a new owner of a 2002 S and am not sure I made the right choice buying used. I have only had the car for a few days now and am happy except for one thing I noticed this morning with the car running the transmission makes what almost sounds like a grinding noise but when the clutch is depressed the noise is gone and also can anybody give me a heads up on adjusting the serpentine belt.

Thanks

sounds like a bad throwout bearing ... didn't hear it on the test drive ??

Go on ebay and get the CD copy of the bentley manual for exaxt service specs on the belt

Pretty sure I didn't hear it I was listening for sounds but it is almost not there when sitting in neutral. I will look for the Bentley I have used them for my VWs. Yea the more I thought about it after I made the post I figured it was either the throw out bearing or the springs on the pressure plate.
