Do our Mini's have tire pressure sensors in the rims?

Hi, 2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible here, looking at the original rims, my mech says they don't look like TPMS valves, says there might be some alternate technology going on, can somebody advise me, please?
Thanks,
Tim

Found my answer, no we don't, looks like the onboard computer uses sensed tire circumference to monitor tire pressures...
