Default door lock

I'm having a problem with my passenger door lock. It won't pop up to unlock the door or go down. The only way I can open the door is with the inside door latch. Has anyone had this problem? The drivers door is fine. Could that just be something simple like a fuse?

Not to jack this thread but how much is the actuator & What's involved in replacing it?

Thanks,

This will get the door panel off ... Then follow the lock rod down to the actuator ...

I'm brand new at this. In fact, I don't even OWN a Mini (but my daughter has one (a 2002 named 'Nigel') & it looks like I'm now the mechanic thanks to a less-than-cooperative dealer that is the only show in town). She has had Nigel for about 2 years & it has been relatively trouble free.
Anyhow, her passenger door lock activator no longer works - so I'm going to take a shot at replacing it. Based on what I'm reading here, it isn't too difficult a job. Does anyone have any hints or diagrams? I'm assuming I remove the door panel with the window in the 'up' position? What size allen wrenches are needed? Do I need to disconnect the battery? She's had trouble with trouble lights coming on mysteriously. I don't want to provoke them unless it is necessary. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I don't believe allen keys are needed ... the door is torx type fastners and
sockets are needed for the actuator ,,,
Disconnecting the battery is never a bad idea , although I didn't
When the check engine light comes on get it scanned for codes , if it clears after 6 on off cycles it's likely a misfire issue
