drivers side window motor replacement
 

hey guys i am unable to remove the two white clamps from my drivers side window. do i have to remove the window in order to replace the motor? does the regulator have to come out to replace the motor? windows are all the way up, motor is shot. took everything apart but can't get window out. can i reach around from the interior of the door to remove the motor?

you need a special tool from bmw to remove the screws. there is no way around it, you need to pay very carefull attention when you pull the motor. the cabling for the regulator is wraped around the motor. if yoy pull the motor and the cabling comes you need another regulator.
