Engine Swap
 

I have a 2004 mini s that was just totaled. I am thinking of dropping the engine and tranny into my 1974 BMW 2002. Does anyone know if this type of engine swap has been accomplished to date? I understand it would mean converting the car to fwd, but as much as I love the 2002, it's a dog that needs some "meat". any suggestions or help would be appreciated. thanks Mark
