F56 Steering rough
 

Hi all, I searched for this but saw nothing about it. I have a 2019 2-door S, and the steering feels rough when I turn the wheel. It's like it's low on lubricant like there is dirt or gravel in the gears (just a description). Does anyone on here experience this? I don't think my model F56 uses any power steering fluid. I think I read somewhere that it was electric. It's out of warranty so I want to be careful in every step of dealing with mechanical issues.
