Front cigarette lighter not working

Hi All
My Front cigarette lighter isn't working, which is a pain as I need to use it for phone charging/ipod.
I've looked online, and there are a few suggestions with pics, and the fuse diagrams shown have a picture of a "cigarette" so easily identifiable; mine however, has not picture of a cigarette, so I'm at a loss as to what fuse im looking for to check, and replace if needed. Any advice please??

**** I have located a previous thread which mentioned could be F44 fuse; I have replaced this and still nothing :-(
Here's a pic of mine

I have exactly the same problem, I've checked fuse #44 as directed by various other sites etc and nothing, check inside the connector as well and nothing I can which would stop it from working, anyone any ideas ?

I also have this problem and keep checking this thread but no one seems to have an answer.

I too have this exact same set up on my 2012 Mini Cooper...need to positively identify the lighter/cigarette fuse. The manual is of no help whatsoever.

my cigarette lighter was not working and fuse cover was the same as above. When I checked my fuse panel I noticed I was missing fuse 38 and installed a 15amp fuse in and my cigarette lighter began working. I also noticed I had a 15amp fuse in spot F37 that shows its unused on the fuse cover and pulled it to check the fuse it was good maybe been a bad connection there before pulling fuse and reinstalling it. I did that before putting a fuse in F38 Hope this help. You can tell if a fuse goes some place if it has the holder in both slots for the fuse blade.

On the 67 Mini, throw away the stupid diagram that bears no relation to the fuse board. It is a yellow 20 amp on the left hand side of the fuse board, 3 or 4 down. Hope this helps.

Thank you!

On my 2013 mini hatch it is also a yellow 20 amp F44 on the fuse board, 5 down on the right.

2018 Countryman All4 Lighter Not Workin

Hello all,
I have a 2018 countryman All4 and I accidentally blew the fuse in my front cigarette lighter. I located the fuse box in the glove compartment, however, I can't figure out which fuse controls the lighter. Can someone help???https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/minicoo...d16bf94b86.jpg

Just shorted out my cig lighter and #44 was definitely the right fuse.

I thought all 3 outlets (front, rear seat, and rear hatch) were dead on the 2011 MINI Countryman S I just bought. I was mistaken. I believe that makes it a Gen2 R60. I found out the hard way that the vehicle does in fact have to be running (key in, accessories / radio on and playing is not good enough to check the 12v outlets). My rear seat outlet is dead. Front and rear hatch area outlets are in fact fine.

The reason I was chasing this down is that my Nav/Media Joystick is dead. No light, home and page buttons don't work, no reaction from the joystick at all. Wasn't sure if it was getting power. The USB port is getting power and I verified that F44 and F45 are good and have power. So, tomorrow in daylight I'll take apart that center console and see what the voltage is on pins 1 and 2 of the joystick module connector. If there is 12V there and the joystick is dead, then that likely means a new Joystick.

So, I am trying to figure out if the joystick and the rear seat power outlet share any common points.

What are these two relays for? I think the bottom one is for either fuel or parking lights maybe? (It was warm with the ignition in accessory mode, and both of those systems were triggered based on what I was doing.)
The top one, is that the bi stable relay?

I was able to use Mitchell1 to verify that all 3 power outlets are in fact on Fuse F44 and I was able to see that the Mini Joystick gets its power from F45. Both of those fuses are good, so maybe I'll fire up the ol' parts cannon and take a risk on a Joystick Module and see if that does the trick. :/

2017 Mini Convertible non-working cig lighter outlet

Having this same issue on 2017 Mini convertible. It was working and then one day just stopped. I REALLY don't want to take it to the dealership to have them charge me 100 bucks to fix a $2.00 problem. Can someone repost the answer if it was given?

Check the fuse first. They blow because people drop things into them and they short and damage.
