I also would like to know if theres a kit for my 2006 mini s convertable to use this or one like it gas cap - http://www.minimania.com/InvDetail.cfm?Item=NMX1050i just noticed it says not for convertables :( does anyone know why not for convertables? and if i can get one? thank you :)

Part if the mechanism in the MCS cap interferes with something on the convertible... that's why they come with the Cooper cap from the factory.

Yea i knew there was somthing to do with the top and or rear windows that go down in there but was still wondering if there was a way around it to do it, thank you :)
