Got the dreaded yellow half-engine warning, limp mode, and codes ahoy
Hi all. Got a 2013 Clubman here with about 70,000 miles. On the highway it started shuddering, displayed the half-yellow check-engine light, and would barely move.
Subsequent code check revealed P0300 and P0300 P. I've replaced the battery, spark plugs, and coils to no avail. I checked the fuel-rail pressure and it reads 60 PSI with a dial-type tire-pressure gauge (not the optimal tool, I realize); from that I conclude that it's probably not the fuel filter or fuel pump, although the filter is probably due for replacement. Now a code check pulls all of these: p0300 multiple cylinder misfire p0302 cylinder #2 misfire c0300 rear speed sensor malfunction c0700 something MAF-related? Hard to find good reference on this p0597 Thermostat Heater Control Circuit Open I find it suspicious that all of these things are suddenly occurring at once; can an electrical disturbance cause spurious codes? I don't know what to try next. Advice appreciated! |
