Grounded Alternator to heat shield. Now what?
While making replacing the gaskets for the oil filter housing and oil cooler I dropped a socket between the alternator and the heat shield. I heard a load pop and the car electronics went dead. I continued with the repairs. When I started the car I noticed the windows go up or down, the heater does not work and I get the following faults from my reader:

if you havent fixed it....check all the fuses on the JBE, the relays in the engine compartment, and start replacing. just hope you didnt fry any of the modules.
