I have a '06 with factory HID headlights and had one go out. After looking into it all the insulation on the wiring inside the housing is breaking off exposing the copper so I thought instead of spending a few hundred on a used HID I'd get a new set of LED's for the same money. Everywhere I look they say not compatible with factory HID. Does someone know why? Is there a way around it if it is a wiring issue? Any help would be appreciated.
