Headlight is foggy & opaque-looking. Replace from where?
Hello everyone.
I hope I've posted this in the correct forums section. If not, please forgive me for my mistake. Anyways, I own a 2004 Mini Cooper S (1.6L 4-cyl, manual transmission). Just yesterday, I entered my garage to see that the driver side headlight of my car appeared opaque-looking (I believe this is referred to as headlight fogging). With a closer look I also found there to be a small crack in the housing, running vertically from the base. Could this fracture have allowed moisture to enter the assembly leading to the fogginess? I've decided to buy an aftermarket replacement light from an online vendor, seeing as this is the simplest, though maybe not the most inexpensive, solution. I've done some browsing around and have found two sites that I particularly liked, but now I'm not sure which to buy from. The prices of the products between the two sites differs significantly, leading me to think that one of the companies is not legitimate. Has anyone ever bought from the following companies and can verify that they are legitimate? Thanks in advance.

Both of those you posted appear to be the HID version for the cooper ...
Depo is the brand that mini uses for OEM parts and they both appear to be Depo parts
There are tons on Ebay as well

You can also bake the headlight at the lowest setting and dry out the moisture then seal the crack
