Default Hi, rear window weather stripping.

Hi, does anyone know the part number or name of the rubber weather stripping? Thanks.

Hi that is the lower window trim or belt line trim. I just replaced the rear three sections on mine. There are five plastic support attachment pcs under those stainless and rubber pcs. You do not know when you start removing the trim if any of the underlying pcs will be reusable. Also the corner C pillars must be removed after the metal trim to replace the smaller plastic corner strips. I would heat up the trim moderately then pry the top of each strip gently rocking the strip out without pulling it off. If you can get the top loose then pull it off straight towards you which is the reverse of installation technique. There will be some breakage I would predict under the metal trim. There are no fasteners only snap off and on.

Default very odd…

i have a 2019 countryman and all of the weather stripping is good except the one in your picture! left rear, just disintegrating! i wonder if they mixed a bad batch of rubber for that particular one!

thx for the info - btw, if water gets in that spot do you think it’s a problem?

ya the other side is ok. So it’s either that or they parked it in the sun.
