Hey everyone I literally just joined this forum to pick everybody's brain. I'm about to buy a used Mini Cooper 2006 s model it has 84k miles. I haven't been able to drive it.... Or see it in person.... Because it's almost 2 hours away. The sticker price was 6.2k.... He came down to 5.5k. I'm nervous about going to buy it because I REALLY want a mini. But I'm not sure if I'm getting a good deal. It feels right. I like the people I'm dealing with. The carfax looks good. (sigh)

So what I'm writing about.... Is what (coming from a non-mechanic background) should I be looking for? What are some tells that scream DONT BUY THIS ONE! it's also a manual transmission. Which I've heard the more stiff the clutch is, The worse is it.

If you can help in any way..... I'd love you all forever. I've wanted a mini for years now. And to top it all off? This is the first car I'm buying by myself. 0.0! Thanks everyone!
