Manual Transmission Fluid

Could anyone tell me the type of transmission fluid I should buy for a 2008 Mini Cooper Conv. Base Model and where I can buy it. Just bought this car and I know that it says you do not have to change fluid but want to anyway. Has 110,000 miles on it and runs great. It has a 5 speed transmission.
