many issues cooper
 

good afternoon all
i have saved a 2003 mini cooper from being scrapped (always loved a mini), but ................it has major issues
i have joined this forum in hope of some solutions
ok if any of you have the time and knowledge to share some advice and experience it would be much appreciated.
here goes ..
first thing i noticed doors do not stay open (swing shut) im thinking this is not normal but its both sides
electrics seem kaput .. no elec window no central locking no lights boot wont open no heater/ blower .. radio and horn work !!
it has a leek from some where the carpets are soaked lots of mould etc .
it has done 136k and seems to have a slight misfire
some of the trim is missing obviously cosmetics i can sort

probably not the greatest of threads but thought i would give it a go

Water leak and it soaked the BCM, you will have to dry it out and fix the water leak. You dont have a sunroof, so its not there. Might be the side front door windows dont seal?

Misfire, check plugs and that coilpack, wires. Coilpack tends to corrode on the terminals.
