Maryland MINI Mechanic
 

I have a 2005 Cooper S with just over 45,000 miles on it. I've always taken it to the dealership for service - but since it's about to go off warranty I've been looking for an independent mechanic to work on it (to save money, and that might be a little closer than the dealership).

Has anyone had any non-dealer experience with mechanics? If by chance anyone knows a reputable mechanic in Montgomery County - I would love to know about it!

This thread was created back in 2007 and NOBODY suggested anything?
Does that mean there are no credible Mini mechanic in Maryland? :(

I'm new to this forum and I too have a 2005 Mini Cooper S. I have a decent mechanic in Clinton, MD but they're not very knowledgable with Mini's.
