Hello, We have a 2012 Mini Cooper Base. We pulled the carpet out and installed new one due to window left open
during rain and was soaked. The car ran before we pulled/installed carpet, but after, now only cranks but wont
start. The battery was disconnected for about a week while we worked on and off on car.

Does the car have a security feature that needs reset due battery disconnect? Any other suggestions to try?

Something got bumped or damaged, the footwell module FRM might have been damaged from the water, its in the front kick panel of the car near the carpet.
