My 04 mini S stereo turns on, turns off, all buttons work and everything however no sound at all. it didnt go out all at once, high static noise came every once in a while even with the deck OFF. now there is no sound and no static. also the static noise was like road noise like a ground wire was loose. any thoughts?

so you think its the Amp? is there a way to test this before i buy a new one?
