NEWBIE needs shop recommendation

My gf has a 2006 Mini Cooper that needs service and she passed her warranty. We live in Santa Clara, CA. Could anybody recomend a private shop that has a good reputation? Thanks!

I'd google an area mini club ... probably a far bettter source
