"P" light always on
 

We just bought a 2008 Clubman. Everything is in mint condition, however, today, the "P" light on the gear selector has lit up in red, and even when all lights are switched off, key is out, it does not turn off. All other display lights are off. Is this normal? Update: It turned off on it's own eventually, but it was over an hour later...the manual says 30 minutes.
