P0012 on a 2010 R57
 

Hi guys,

I just received my sister's 2010 R57 convertible (she gave it to my daughter). Drove it home from PA to GA without any problems and have been driving it locally to see if there are any issues... got a P0012 code the other day and found that the cam sensor was covered in oil. Cleaned it off and all was good until the next time I drove it- same problem.

Here's where I need your help- I'm guessing that the cam seal(s) and/or the O rings are bad and need replacing:
- does that sound correct or, am I way off?
- what all do I need parts-wise/tool-wise to do the repair? O rings, seals, valve cover gasket? Any part numbers would be a great help!

Hoping to get this done when school ends next week (I teach middle school band here in Georgia).

There are a couple of other problems (one of the top cables is broken- will work on that AFTER I get the oil leak fixed)
