Popping sounds from dash
 

I have a 2012 Mini that makes 3 or 4 popping sounds (seems to be coming from the right side of the dash or possibly from the engine compartment).
this happens when the car is started sometimes or it can happen while driving down the road. I wonder if anyone has heard sounds like this & can give any ideas. There doesn't seem to be any problems caused by the popping or snapping sounds. However, it makes me wonder what might be causing it.

I have the same issue. Always three knocks under the glove box when accelerating or braking. I can't find anything out of place
