Question about 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman Rear Bumper Cover Damage Help, Please!
Hello!
I backed my daughter's car into a truck and damaged her bumper (totally boneheaded move--don't ask). I'm trying to determine my best plan for fixing it. It is a 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman Base Model in Light White. Which of the following options do you all think is best and do you have any idea the best (cheapest) way I can fix it in a quality manner? Thanks in advance! 1. Try to find a used, matching bumper cover to purchase? 2. Purchase a primed and painted after-market bumper cover? 3. Purchase a primed after-market bumper cover and have it painted? 4. Purchase an after-market bumper cover and have it prepped and painted? 5. Have my current bumper cover repaired (photo attached). Finally, should I have it installed or could I install it myself? I have done minor car repairs so, I can do it if it's not too hard (i.e. I just replaced the power, heated, foldable mirror on my GMC Acadia). Clearly, this is out of my realm of knowledge so I appreciate any advice!
