Default Quick door question

I've got an 05 s hatch back. My passenger side door won't open from the inside just stopped working. My question is if I take that panel off where the hex head screws are will I able to access my linkage? Any tips or ideas? It does open from the outside. Thanks in advance!

So I tore into my door yesterday. May I suggest, long flathead screwdriver, headlamp, and lots of patience! I had the most trouble taking apart the door latch and actually getting it out. I also ended up breaking a clip on my electrical connection. All said and done I spent about 3 hours tinkering. Got my cables all connected, lock put back tested several times and worked fine. It's a very frustrating and rewarding working on your own car. I also recommend tested window and lock before putting door back together. I had routed a cable wrong that was preventing window going down. Still not out the woods yet as when I went to get out it stopped working again. This time it's not opening from inside or outside! Also my lock I noticed wasn't working. So back at it today. I'm going to see about jb welding my cable onto latching component as it seems to be slipping off? Hopefully I'm on the down hill slope!
