radio short when headlights turned on
 

I have a 2005 S Convertible with an odd problem. When listening to the radio, if you turn on the headlights the amplifier shuts down turning off the front (amplified) speakers. Any ideas on what is causing this issue? The car is equipped with a Harmon Cardon system that does not have bluetooth.
