Red Light on Tachometer doesn't flash
 

How do I know if I have an alarm on my 2015 paceman s, there is the red light on the tachometer, but it never flashes. when I lock the car with the fob, the car doesn't make the annoying beep sound that you hear from everyone's car when they lock it with the remote and the red light does not come on to indicate the alarm is activated. I checked the manual but there is no information to determine if the vehicle is equipped with an alarm or not. Any suggestions?
