Remote Keys, and Programming
Im new to my 2004 Mini, and have some questions about the remote/key. I got only one with the car, and would like at least another key/remote and a valet key as well. I have seen both on Ebay, but wonder about the ability of the "instructions' to successfully program the new key, and not Un program the one I have. I would also like to include some of the features mentioned in the manual, like auto unlock with engine shutdown, and convenience oopening of the windows and sunroof with the remote.
What is the real story on the remotes, is the $135 dealer key, and $65 programming fee the only real option....
