Replacing the clutch and recommended oil change

I drive an 04 Cooper S, and I'm nearing the 100k mark. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions about mechanical problems that come about near that 100k mark. I know the clutch will probably be an issue - are there are recommendations of where to replace the clutch or if to buy a certain brand from somewhere first? Any other problems anyone else went through?

Also, I like to take good care of the car and get its recommended maintenance. As for oil changes, does everyone do it at around every 3000k, or is it alright if I start pushing it to the every 5000k mark?

Thanks for the help!
