rough idle after plug change

rough idle after plug change
I changed plugs last week on my base 2012 R56. It had thrown a code that triggered the check engine light. After the plug change, it of course ran much better, but the idle is erratic unlike how it was before it threw the code. Will just clearing the code help this?
