Self locking doors

After drivng my Mini for 6 months, I have only one complaint. It is really pretty minor but still slightly irritating. Every time the car goes over 10 mph or so, it locks the doors. Thats not so bad, but it doesn't unlock them until you take the key out. I have a habit of parking my car in my garage and leaving the key in (that way I don't loose them). The drivers door unlocks from the inside as I get out, but if I need to get something out of the trunk, or go around to get something out of the passenger seat, the darn locks are still locked, and I gotta go back around to the drivers side and unlock it. Granted, if this is my biggest complaint, I should feel pretty good about the car. And I most certainly do. I can't find a proceedure to make it stop doing that in the manual. Can a dealer reprogram the computer to make the car not self lock the doors?
