smoke

What could be the cause of my clutch going out if I drive normal! Is it a common thing for mini clutch to burn up?
This is not my first car that is a manual I have never had a problem like this. If it is not the clutch what could it possibly be?

RE: smoke

Gee, Jamie, you ought to try giving a bit more information. Is it slipping? Is it not disengaging ? Based on your title of the post, smoke must be involved. If so, you are correct in assuming that smoke is generally not good. Under what conditions does it smoke? What exactly are your symptoms? No, I don't think Mini clutches are just inherently bad.
