Question Spare tire for run-flats?

I am new to the site, thinking of buying either a CPO or new MC Clubman S. The ONE thing preventing me from going ahead is those stupid, expensive and rough run-flat tires. So, I have a question- Has anyone modified the exhaust system and put in a spare tire from a non-S Cooper? Also, does anyone know of any future plans to release the next model without the annoying center pillars on the rear doors? Thanks in advance for your input. Stuts

I've been running non runflats since 05 ... A tire mobility kit (slime and an air compressor)
and a triple A card ... I also have my stock rims at home the wife can run them out if needed...
I did see an ingeniuos clubbie owner built a flat deck up , and had the spare underneath it
